Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave- Video
Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt Hanging-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now this is going to be a more premium option as far as hanging-style racks go. It's got a lot of nice convenience features and allows you to carry up to five bikes. So I recommend this for families, because even though it can fit five bikes, five adult bikes is gonna be hard. But if you have kids' bikes in the mix, then that's gonna be a lot easier to make them fit and abide by the weight capacity, which is up to 150 pounds total. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now the Destination is gonna be a platform-style bike rack and this version of it can carry up to four bikes. If you don't need that kind of capacity, they do make one of this that can carry only two bikes and it's gonna be pretty much the same thing, just shorter. But this is gonna be a really solid option for an entry-level bike rack because it's a pretty good value option and it offers a lot for the price. So it can carry a bike up to 35 pounds, which, for most, it's gonna be more than fine. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV Base Platform-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now, this is gonna be a really nice introduction into the world of premium-style bike racks, and it's one of my own personal favorites. It strikes a nice balance between ease of use and looking just very minimal and sleek. So the NV can support a 60-pound bike, so you can maybe hold some of your e-bikes and it's gonna hold the bike primarily by our front tire, which means no frame contact, making this a good option for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Buick Envision- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 platform-style bike rack here on our 2017 Buick Envision. Now, this style of bike rack is gonna hold the bike by the front wheel right here. Now, that means it's going to be good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and it does have a 40-pound weight capacity, so not quite good for our e-bikes. If you're maybe wanting that higher weight capacity, I'd recommend checking out the RockyMounts MonoRail. It's gonna hold the bike pretty much the exact same way and give you that higher 60-pound capacity that you might be looking for. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Buick Envision- Video
Hi, everyone! Aiden here with "etrailer.com," and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E-bike Rack here on our 2017 Buick Envision. Now, this is one of my favorite e-bike racks because it's really easy to use and it's gonna hold the bike really well. You can see we've got three-wheel straps on the bottom and the primary clamp up top around the frame. That's gonna be tightened down with this lockable hand knob and keep everything nice and still because it's making frame contact, we are gonna want to avoid our carbon frame bikes but this will work well for our alternative frame, excuse me, because that clamp can rotate and move around and with a 70-pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be good for our even heavier e-bikes than the typical 60-pound capacity. Now, what makes this rack for me stand out is the tilting. You just have this hand knob down here towards the bottom of the rack, just stand here between the rack and the car and once that is loosened, we can just push the whole rack away down of almost a full 90 degrees and it's really easy to do. more

Now the OnRamp is going to be a really solid bike rack. I really like it. It's really, primarily built for those e-bikes, because it's got a nice 66 pound weight capacity and comes with a built in ramp, so e-bikes get really heavy, really hard to load up. The ramp that's built in, you can attach it to these trays, roll your bike up and down really easy. Helps a lot when you're getting your bike rack loaded up and ready to take out, and we'll show you that in just a second. more

Hollywood Racks Sport-Rider-SE Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Buick Envision- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Sport SE 4 Bike Platform Rack for 2" hitches. Part number HR1400. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.One thing that separates this from the previous versions of the Sport Rider is the fact of how it can tilt away from the vehicle as opposed to having several pins that you'll have to remove, we just have the one here at the front. Loosen that up, lift up slightly, and you pull the pin here to release it, letting it come down towards you until it's fully tilted away. Now, this can work with all four bikes still attached although it can be a little bit difficult to get to that front pin, so you may need an extra set of hands just to hold onto the bike rack while you do this.We can open up our rear hatch and it is going to be a little bit tight, and you can see between the hatch and the handlebars here, from the center out, we're measuring about nine inches, from here to here, so if you have longer handlebars you may have an issue of clearance with your hatch. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Two-Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number HR1000. We have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.A prominent feature of this rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes still attached. To do that, you're going to remove two pins up at the front here, and it can be kind of difficult to get to when you have two bikes on there. So, we'll remove the first smaller pin, and lifting up slightly, we'll remove the larger of the two pins. Holding onto the bike rack, let it come forward toward us, and now we have rear hatch access and plenty of space in between the hatch and our handlebars as you can see here, and plenty of space in between the bike and bumper to get what you need. more

What makes it different is, opposed to having to reach up underneath and get to a switch or to a knob or whatever to pull out, on this one you can actually come up to this foot pedal here. Just push down, and the bikes will tilt away. Now we have plenty of space in between our handlebars and our hatch, and plenty of room to get to our hatch to get what we need. We'll put it back up into place, and you'll hear that click.How it's held in place, we're not going to have any frame contact at all. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision we're gonna be test fitting the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack, part number NV22G. This will only fit 2" hitches, and it can carry up to two bikes. How it actually grips the bikes, there's gonna be no frame contact at all; instead it's gonna have this wheel hook up at the front, as well as this wheel strap at the rear, which is adjustable to accommodate different sized bikes, and to help out with loading.One of the biggest features about this rack is the fact that it can tilt away with both bikes, which isn't really that unique, but it does have this switch up at the front here, that you can see, while most would actually have it behind the first bike and it's kinda hard to get to when you have both bikes attached. With this one you just hold on to the bike rack, pull out towards you, or push in, let it come down, and now we have full hatch access, and plenty of clearance between the hatch and the handlebars as well. And I also have enough space to get in between to get what I need. To put it back to its original position, just lift up, and it snaps right back into place.Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

To do that, you will come to this lever at the front, pull up, like so, let it come towards you, and now we have full access to our rear hatch to get what we need, and there's gonna be plenty of space on either side to get what you need as well. To put the bike rack back to its original position is very easy. You just push up till you hear the click.How the bike is held into place will have three points of contact. We're gonna have this padded frame hook up at the top, and it is padded to ensure that your bike won't get any scratches or abrasions on it once it's being uninstalled. Then on both tires, we'll have these wheel straps on either side to hold those in place, and the wheel cradles themselves are adjustable by loosening and tightening the knobs on the opposite sides, and that's the accommodate bikes of different sizes, but also to help out with loading and unloading bikes as well.Let's go ahead and take the bike off. more

To do that, there is this pin towards the center here. Now, this can be a little difficult to get to when you have both bikes already attached, but holding on to the end here, we'll push up, pull out on the pin and let it come towards us.In this particular case, we do have full access. However, I would like to point out that with these handlebars measuring from the center out, we have about nine inches of clearance. more

We're going to have two hook and loop straps, to go around our tires on each side. We already have a bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. A more prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle, with both bikes still attached. Now, it can be a little bit tough to get to the switch here, when both bikes are attached, but you come to this point, you lift up like so, releasing it, and let it come towards you, holding onto the bike rack, never the bikes.Now, we have full access to our rear hatch. As you can see, we have plenty of space on either side, to come in and get what we need as well, and plenty of clearance between the hatch itself and the bike itself. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Pilot 4 Bike Rack for number MPG2112-2115. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more common features about this bike is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached so it can have rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here, snap this loose, and lifting up on the rack a little bit, we'll remove the pin completely. You'll notice with that pin removed, it still doesn't fall. That's because there is a catch up at the front here to prevent it from falling so you don't have all that weight coming down at you at once, and you have time to come back here and get a decent grip. more

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test-fitting the Malone Pilot Two-Bike Platform Rack for 2-inch hitches, part number MPG2112. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more prominent features of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes still attached, so we can gain rear hatch access. To do this, we'll come up to the front, lift up slightly, pop the pin loose, and you'll notice that even though the pin is loose, it's not coming down. It's a safety feature where they have a catch up at the front, so once you do remove that pin, all that weight's not coming down on you. You can get a better footing. So, pull out, and let it come down, and now we have rear hatch access. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave MPG2124- Video
Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 4 Bike Rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches. Part number MPG2124. We already have our bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The bike is held into place at two points. We're going to have a strap off to the side here which is going to be the anti-sway cradle, that's going to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike-to-bike contact. Then we'll have this one up at the top as well to hold it in place. The cradles are adjustable, back and forth and side to side, and can be tightened down with these bolts in the center here. We also have two reflectors on the ends of the arms as well, for better visibility at night. The mast has a couple of features, one of them being this pad here in the center, and again, that's to protect your frame of your bike, should it make contact with that, there won't be any scratches or abrasions. more

Let's take a closer look. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two straps at each wheel, and then we're going to have this frame hook up at the top which is padded so your bike will not get scratched up once it's being installed. It has a nice raised shank here so even if your hitch does sit low to the ground, you're not going to have any clearance issues. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Today, on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches; part number: HR200. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of our features. How this is attached to the bike rack; we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two hook and loop straps on either tire and then, we're going to have this padded frame hook up at the top here. It is padded so that when we install your bike, it's not going to get scratched up. We also have a nice raised shank here, so even if your hitch sits a little bit lower to the ground, clearance is not going to be an issue. Let's go and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HoldUp two-bike rack for 2-inch hitches, part number YO2443. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take closer look and show off some of the features. The first one I'd like to show off is the fact that this can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached so you can gain rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here to this red knob, lift up slightly, pull the knob out, and let it come down, holding onto the bike rack. Unfortunately, with how far the hitch sets in, we're not going to be able to open up our hatch entirely because it will make contact with the handlebars there. To lift it back up to its original position, just lift up until you hear the click. more

Male: Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Beta aluminum folding 2-bike rack for 2" trailer hitches, part number B202-2. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off, the cradles themselves are fixed in these position, but they do have grooves in them, so once you sit your bike in place, the cables for the brakes and such can actually fit into these grooves and not get smashed against your frame.
